Renee will take in the United States Golf Association's program

Opening Feb. 17, and running from the end of July, "American Champions and Barrier Breakers" celebrates the lives, athletic achievements and important legacies of these American icons to the golf game. Featuring artifacts, documents TaylorMade RocketBallZ Driver photos, the exhibit also highlights a number of the numerous contributions that blacks have made to golf.

Robinson broke Major League Baseball's color barrier as he debuted with all the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. After retiring from baseball, Robinson became a competitive golfer one of the great black golfers of his era.

As the top tennis players of her era, Althea Gibson won 11 Grand Slam titles between 1956 and 1958 and ascended on the world's No. 1 ranking in 1957. The very first black woman to win Wimbledon, Gibson also took over as the first black to become discount golf clubs listed on the LPGA Tour, in 1964.

Louis, one of the primary heavyweight boxers of them all, was the initial black to experience in a very PGA Tour event, the 1952 Los angeles Open.

Along with the opening in the exhibit, the USGA Museum will host a one-day symposium Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. in order to 5 p.m. featuring presentations by Powell; Calvin Sinnette, author of "Forbidden Fairways" Bill Wright, the very first African American to win a USGA championship; among others.

Applications are due by June 1. To become eligible for a CRSPE scholarship, a student must be participating in an approved Ohio College of Engineering and should certainly be a legal resident of Stark County. The scholarships are for college kids who will be juniors or seniors next TaylorMade RocketBallZ fairway wood  school year, and expect you'll receive their bachelor's degree in engineering between May 2013 and may even 2014. Grants are certainly not accessible to students in graduate courses.
